IQF Frozen Redcurrants – 1kg
Our IQF frozen redcurrants offer a bright, tangy berry flavour with pronounced acidity, subtle natural sweetness and a vibrant ruby-red colour. Known for their delicate, translucent appearance and refreshing sharpness, redcurrants are a distinctive ingredient for professional pastry kitchens, bakeries, restaurants and drinks businesses.
Supplied individually quick frozen (IQF) in a convenient 1kg pack, these frozen redcurrants can be portioned directly from frozen without needing to defrost an entire pack. Their small size, juicy flesh and naturally tart character make them particularly useful for fruit compotes, coulis, jellies, sauces and pastry fillings, while the frozen format provides convenient access to redcurrants beyond their short fresh season.
Their sharp, refreshing flavour makes them particularly well suited to pastry, desserts, preserves and drinks, including fruit tarts, cheesecakes, sorbets, ice cream, redcurrant jelly, cocktails and savoury sauces. Redcurrants pair especially well with raspberry, vanilla, white chocolate, citrus, rosemary and rich meats such as duck and venison, making them versatile for both sweet and savoury preparations.

Less than 1kg - £4.95

When you book a Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery, you will receive a unique Royal Mail tracking number that allows you to track your parcel in real time. The tracking information is available on Royal Mail's website. The tracking information includes the parcel's location and delivery status, which is updated throughout its journey.
What happens if my delivery is delayed?
We can't give a 100% guarantee that your order will arrive on that exact date as there are unfortunately occasions where something happens that's outside our control. We will always dispatch the working day prior to your delivery date and Royal Mail will attempt next working day delivery on 99% of all parcels, however we strongly recommend that you order at least 1 working day prior if you need to be sure of delivery by a certain day.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes our packaging is 100% recyclable. The wool from our wool liners is compostable and the outer plastic cover can be recycled. For every 25 cardboard boxes that we dispatch, we plant one tree 🌲
