IQF Frozen Gooseberries – 1kg
Our IQF frozen green gooseberries offer a distinctive sharp, tangy flavour with refreshing acidity and subtle natural sweetness. Known for their vibrant green colour, characteristic tartness and delicate fruity aroma, green gooseberries are a versatile ingredient for professional kitchens, bakeries, pastry chefs and food producers looking for a traditional fruit with a distinctive flavour profile.
Supplied individually quick frozen (IQF) in a convenient 1kg pack, these whole frozen gooseberries can be portioned directly from frozen without needing to defrost an entire pack. Their firm skins and juicy flesh soften during cooking, making them particularly useful for compotes, jams, preserves, sauces and fruit fillings, while the frozen format provides convenient access beyond the short fresh gooseberry season.
Their bright, tart character makes them particularly well suited to baking, pastry, desserts and preserves, including gooseberry fools, crumbles, pies, tarts, sorbets and fruit compotes. Gooseberries pair especially well with elderflower, vanilla, apple, ginger, white chocolate and cream, making them suitable for both traditional British recipes and contemporary dessert creations.

What happens if my delivery is delayed?
We can't give a 100% guarantee that your order will arrive on that exact date as there are unfortunately occasions where something happens that's outside our control. We will always dispatch the working day prior to your delivery date and Royal Mail will attempt next working day delivery on 99% of all parcels, however we strongly recommend that you order at least 1 working day prior if you need to be sure of delivery by a certain day.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes our packaging is 100% recyclable. The wool from our wool liners is compostable and the outer plastic cover can be recycled. For every 25 cardboard boxes that we dispatch, we plant one tree 🌲
